To realize this symbiotic relationship the faculty members and students are encouraged to commit themselves towards this philosophy. High emphasis is laid on research projects by faculty members and students. Research in the form of pilot projects, course-specific mini projects, field assignments, case projects, industry internship and R&D projects have all been synchronized in the two-year MBA curriculum at different levels.
The faculty members work individually as well as with industry experts, consultants, practitioners and students to initiate, conduct research and publish papers with the unanimous goal of bridging the gap between concepts (theory) and contexts (practice). SCIT Journal (ISSN: 0974-5076), SCIT Monograph Series and Navankur (newsletter) stand testimony to the research rigour.
