Returning to SCIT is a truly nostalgic experience. Being back on campus brings back countless memories of my time here. It is wonderful to reconnect with students and faculty, especially Savitha Ma’am, who has always been an important part of the SCIT journey. While I was unable to meet Bharti Sir and Dhanya Ma’am this time, it has been an absolute pleasure to return and engage with the SCIT community once again. Being here is not only a joy but also an honour, as SCIT continues to hold a very special place in my heart.

The entrepreneurial spirit that drives me today was first nurtured during my time at SCIT. As a member of the ITELF Club, I had the opportunity to interact with numerous entrepreneurs and industry leaders, which inspired me to think beyond conventional career paths. One of the most memorable experiences was organizing SCIT’s first TEDx event around 2013-14. That experience made me realize that, someday, I wanted to build something of my own. SCIT also played a pivotal role in shaping my professional journey by providing me with the opportunity to join Deloitte, where I gained invaluable exposure to business leaders. Observing how they led organizations and navigated challenges gave me important insights into leadership and career growth. The exposure and learning that began at SCIT continued throughout my professional journey across various organizations. Those experiences continue to guide me today as I build and grow my own company. Entrepreneurship is a continuous learning process, and I am still learning every day-how to lead effectively, create meaningful value, and sustain long-term growth. The foundation for that journey was laid right here at SCIT.

One of the most valuable learnings from my time at SCIT was the IRM subject, which provided me with insights that continue to be relevant in my professional journey. However, beyond academics, it was the discipline, work ethic, and culture instilled by SCIT that have had the greatest impact on my career. As I progressed in the corporate world, I realized that while talent is important, it is hard work, consistency, and perseverance that truly differentiate individuals in the long run. The habits and values developed during my time at SCIT helped me build a strong foundation, enabling me to navigate challenges, stay focused on my goals, and continue growing professionally.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that data alone is important. In reality, it is the quality of data that matters most. This is why even today, successful AI models are trained on the right data and good-quality datasets. One interesting fact that many people may not know is that Sanskrit is considered a highly structured language that can be well-suited for AI training. With the right data, Indian AI models have the potential to do wonders. Ultimately, better decisions come from better-quality data.
